This is the second episode of a series of consultations that will bring together users, scientists and civil society to discuss on how to upscale IG3IS activities across countries, regions, cities and sectors and will reflect on examples where observation-based information was successfully utilized to guide climate action. As a user oriented initiative, IG3IS will keep consulting with critical stakeholders the path forward to tailor its capabilities to their needs. IG3IS combines atmospheric GHG concentration measurements with human-activity data in a modelling and analysis framework to help decision-makers take better informed action to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and pollutants that reduce air quality.
